Bella Kay announces debut album “My Reckless Abandon”

On June 16th, Bella Kay announced her debut album live from the stage during the final show of her sold out North American Tour, a couple minutes out. This surprise announcement marks a significant milestone in the young artist’s career. 

Bella Kay has proven herself to be an innovative singer-songwriter since her breakthrough song, “The Sick” went viral on TikTok in the summer of 2025. The gut-wrenching single has generated over 2.6 billion views on TikTok and over 175 million streams. Unlike many artists who find overnight success on social media, Bella Kay has continued to build momentum well beyond her initial viral moment.

Any thoughts that she may be another one-off TikTok viral musician were quickly disproved with the release of a couple minutes out in February of 2026. This emotionally jarring three-track project included the hit song iloveitiloveitiloveit which reached No. 2 on the UK charts. This project proved her to be one of alternative pop's most promising new artists. 

Now, Bella Kay is preparing to debut her first full-length album, My Reckless Abandon. The 13-track project will include all three tracks from last month's three-pack, are you mad at me?, along with the hit song iloveitiloveitiloveit and nine new songs. Executive produced by Idarose, this album centers on the ideas of self-acceptance and introspection. 

The album is set to be released on July 12th, 2026 via Atlantic Records.
