Her track “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has made history and only gained popularity since its original release in 1994.
Making it into Hit 100's top ten for the first time in 2017, and hitting number 1 for the very first time in 2019, the Christmas classic has proven to age like fine wine.

The song made history when it became the first song in Billboard history to complete four separate rises to number 1, after it reaching the top in 2020 and now this year (2022.) Mariah Carey is undoubtedly the voice that people all over the world associate with Christmas time. The mega-star has made an entire career around the holiday, and around this song.
While this song has been her biggest success, it has also led to some of her biggest live performance "fails." Over the years, the artist's iconic whistle-tone has weakened (which is normal with age.) This has caused her to become a laughing stock online a few different times after missed notes while performing "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
Despite these moments, Mariah continues to promote and perform the song every year during the holiday season. The song only continues to grow in popularity, and no doubt will be a Christmas classic for years to come.
