The 80s superstar has finally announced her sequel album to her 2005 album called, "Confessions on the Dance Floor." This will be the first time in 7 years that she would have released a completely original album called, "Madame X."
Madonna first got her start all the way back in the 1980s when she released her debut, self titled album "Madonna" back in July of 1983. She had a unique pop sound that stood out in the early 80s with her catchy pop dance sound that shook up her era. But it wouldn't be until Late 1984 when she would release the controversial, "Like A Virgin". From there, she would be a pop icon for years to come.
She would release album after album and then in 2005, she released, "Confessions on the Dance Floor." This was a mega hit album that topped the charts back in the 2000s in 40 countries and would go on to win a Grammy. This is considered one of her biggest albums in her discography. So when fans heard her announce a sequel to her landmark album, they lost their minds!
Madonna was able to define a new era of popular music back in the 2000s. Can she now redefine pop music in the 2020s with her new album? We will have to wait until July 3, 2026 to find out if she can do it again!
