TOP 10 COUNTRY ALBUM CHARTS AND TOP 40 ALL GENRE
Norman North’s brand new EP The Otherside is available now and landed on iTunes country chart at #10 and in the Top 40 of all genre sales chart. The EP is a manifestation of North’s relationship with music as a way to connect with people and share love and positivity. North’s goal for this EP is for fans to discover the same feelings he felt when he listened to country music for the first time. North solely penned all tracks for the EP except “Us Now” where he enlisted the help of Natalia Malo.
“It’s amazing how channeling yourself and being authentic shines through a project and connects with the fans in indescribable ways,” explains North. “This is the first time in my life I’ve ever charted on a sales chart and for it to be Top 10 and rising is insane. I didn’t really expect any of this to happen. I just wanted to make a great body of work and I’m happy the world likes the vibes I provide.”

People.com exclusively premiered the EP yesterday and shared North’s emotional story of how the untimely death of his mom thrust him into the country music genre, which he refers to as “memory music.”
"The thing that still gets me is the moments I can't get back," he tells PEOPLE. "The only way I can get those moments back is when I listen to certain country songs."
