Fetty Wap breaks 2 and a half year hiatus with new album, "Zavier"

Renowned rapper and artist Fetty Wap is set to release his brand new album titled, "Zavier" this Friday after a 2 and a half year hiatus after being sentenced to 6 years in prison initially being arrested in 2021 then again in 2022. Fans haven't heard from Fetty Wap since his last album came out on November 24, 2023 called, "King Zoo". But fans will finally get their dreams fulfilled with this epic comeback.

Fetty Wap first started his career back in 2013 when he first gained interest in writing music. He started out as a rapper, but then eventually moved to mixing rapping with singing. He got his nickname, "Fetty" from a nickname that he got in school. The "Wap" part of his name was a tribute to Gucci Mane's nickname, "Guwop".

Fetty Wap continued to write music and in 2014, he released his first commercial song, "Trap Queen". Which became an internet sensation and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in early 2015. It would stay on the charts for 53 weeks and catapult Fetty Wap to superstarum. He would follow up "Trap Queen" with another massive hit in "679" with the Remy Boyz that hit number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 18, 2015. On the same date, "My Way" with Monty also went onto the charts peaking at number 7.

It was looking up for Fetty Wap with constant chart prescence and a big fan base. But back in 2021, he was arrested for having and trying to transport controlled substances. He would be in and out of jail from 2021 to 2026. He would eventually be released in January of 2026.

He got right to work and is set to release his brand new album, "Zavier" this Friday. He also released a teaser video on YouTube last Monday to promote his new album. Fans are hoping for a return to form for the Trap Queen Fetty Wap.
