Ry Rivers Perfect Rendition of "Neon Moon"

Morgan Wallen, Kelly Clarkson, and Cigarettes After Sex, have many things in common, one being that they are all talented artists, and another being that they have all covered the classic country hit “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn. Now joining the group of those who have paid homage to this iconic song is country artist Ry Rivers. Based in South Florida, Ry grew up on traditional, classic country music. He released his cover of “Neon Moon” on August 1, 2025, to express his respect and passion for true country music by true legends.

Covers are extremely difficult to execute, especially when covering a piece loved around the world. It’s a crucial balance between persevering enough original elements that the song is still recognizable and adding enough contrast that your artistry can shine throughout. Ry exhibits this balance perfectly by keeping the soft melodies and smooth vocals from the original, but mixing it with touching harmonies and his own unique twang.
