South Grit Vibe "Fire and Gasoline"

South Grit Vibe "Fire and Gasoline"

Texas based group, South Grit Vibe has released a new single titled "Fire and Gasoline". The song is about a girlfriend who gets a little crazy when she's had a little too much to drink. South Grit Vibe resides in Corpus Christi, TX and writes original music with a Texas Hill Country Red Dirt Vibe. A little bit Country and a little bit Rock and Roll. Marcus Tolero writes the songs and covers most of the vocals. His father owned two country western bars called the County Line and the Wickhaven Lounge in a small Florida town just south of Daytona. He grew up watching Country Western Bands in the early eighties play at his father's bars. That era and scene, and the memories of it, is a big influence on his writing. He moved to New Braunfels, Texas in 2007 after a short stint in the U.S. Navy, and the Red Dirt heavy New Braunfels music scene sound also heavily influenced his music. South Grit Vibe cites recent artists like Cross Canadian Ragweed and Ryan Bingham, and classic acts like ZZ TOP and Tom Petty as major inspiration and influences for their sound.
