"The Transition" of G Premacy

G Premacy, born Eugene Ky'u Kennedy, is an American Hip Hop artist from Troy, NY by way of Buffalo. Spring-boarding off the momentum gained from his shows with Tory Lanez, Lil Bibby, and Futuristic, 2015 was the year G decided to make serious moves and spontaneously dropped everything he had to pursue his career in Denver, a place he had never been and knew no one. After his tour with Fresh Kils and Chuckie Campbell, from Toronto to SXSW in Austin, TX, he knew this was what he was meant to do. He set out to Denver to make an impact and was named "Colorado Solo Artist of the Year" after 7 months. The following summer (2016) G Prem participated in a TeamBackPack event in Brooklyn with thousands in attendance, alongside Twista, Ghostface Killa, Cassidy, Cyhi the Prynce and many more. His year was rounded out with a 24 city, cross country tour with Chuckie Campbell. Before long, G ended up signing a distribution deal with, EQ Distro, a subsidiary of Roc Nation. Before long, G Prem found himself in THE SOURCE Magazine, THISIS50, and many other blogs, as well as in a half hour, in-person interview with Lord Sear at Sirius XM's SHADE45 in Feb. 2020. The momentum was quickly haulted by a pandemic riddled 2020. G and his team continued working and reshaping the new album, The Transition, until the world began to open up so they could properly release this extensive work of art he worked so long and hard on. In 2021 he's locked in multiple festival slots, sure to prime his launch.
