Way Too Early Potential Picks for Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show

With Bad Bunny's record-breaking and "controversial" Super Bowl LX Halftime performance coming to a close, it is now time to look into the future with some potential halftime show picks for Super Bowl LXI, which will be held in Inglewood, California at the Los Angeles Rams/Chargers SoFi Stadium.

Tyler, The Creator

Tyler, the Creator has been in the music industry for around two decades with his debut mixtape called, "Bastards" coming out in 2009. He has been growing in popularity ever since with hit releases like his landmark album, "Igor" which won him a Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020. In addition to that success, he came out with "Chromakopia" in late 2024 and "Don't Tap The Glass" in the summer of 2025.

He should absolutely be considered for the halftime show because he absolutely killed it at the 68th Grammy Awards with his show stealing performance, great set pieces and amazing effects. It would fit right into the halftime show with ease. Imagine Tyler, the Creator with the budget of the Super Bowl halftime show....yeah!

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter started off as an innocent Disney channel star and, like a lot of other former Disney stars, has turned to a more risque side. Her music has exploded all over the music industry and the internet with her smash hit album, "Short n' Sweet" back in 2024, which got her nominated for Best New Artist, which she lost to Chappell Roan. But she was nominated for 6 Grammys at the 68th Grammy Awards this year.

So the traction is real for Sabrina Carpenter and, like Tyler, the Creator, put on a great performance at the Grammys this year with intricate set pieces, great costumes, and amazing dancing/choreography. The hype is there, the fans are there, and the creativity is there. Why not?

Harry Styles

Harry Styles skyrocketed into superstardom when a little known band called One Direction exploded in popularity when they went onto X Factor and then released their first album, "Up All Night" with their smash hit single off the album, "What Makes You Beautiful". One Direction ruled most of the 2010's until their breakup in 2016. But ever since then, Harry Styles has only grown in popularity with his releases like "Watermelon Sugar" off of "Fine Line" and Harry Styles Grammy Award winning album, "Harry's House". After a 4 year hiatus from music, he is coming back with a new album called, "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally." It will release on March 6, 2026.

I know that this might be a dark horse pick, but let me explain. People love Harry Styles. Not only from his One Direction fame, but also from his amazing solo work. Yes, by the time that Super Bowl LXI happens, his album would have already come out almost a year ago. But, think about how many more streams his album would get. Also, you might have to put him with another artist, maybe a pseudo One Direction reunion, without Liam Payne unfortunately. But that would make the internet explode! He has great stage energy, great costumes, and will always put on a good performance. It's something that Roger Goodell might want to consider!
