Foo Fighters come back strong with new album "Your Favorite Toy"

The Foo Fighters have defined multiple generations of rock music across all demographics and eras. Ever since Nirvana split up and Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters, they have been on a roll with massive hits like, "Everlong", "The Pretender", and "My Hero".

Now, they look to come back strong after the sad passing of their legendary drummer Taylor Hawkins back in 2022. They released an album called, "But Here We Are" in memoriam to Hawkins. But now, this Friday they are releasing their brand new project called, "Your Favorite Toy."

The Foo Fighters got their start after Nirvana disbanded and Dave Grohl started to write his own music. In fact, the Foo Fighters first ever album was composed and played entirely by Grohl himself. He released his first "solo" album called, "Foo Fighters." After that, the Foo Fighters blew up and they became rock and roll legends.

After the tragic passing of Hawkins back in 2022 and their subsequent album in 2023, they went back to work on a new album and playing shows. They eventually released an EP called, "Of All People" on April 10th. They released four songs and they are all classic Foo Fighters. They have their signature aggressive style with a blend of softer, but still intense vibe to the songs.

The single that bares the name of the album, "Your Favorite Toy," has Grohl singing through some weird distortion that stands out and sounds super unique. With the powerful guitar exploding in the background and the drums firing off on all cylinders, this song is a bona fide banger that will surely become a classic in no time!

You can listen to their new album below!
